In 2014, I decided that it was time to change the direction of my life and my career of almost 30 years. I said goodbye to corporate life, sold my home and most of my things, and decided it was time to see the world. I began by teaching English in Brazil, but I have since moved into working as a freelance writer, changing locations whenever it suits me – which is usually soon after it gets anywhere below 10 degrees C wherever you find me!
In this blog, I’ll share some of the things I’ve done and seen on my journeys, but I’ll also throw in some of the “behind the scenes” thoughts, observations, and struggles that happen when you trade in your old life for a new one.
