One of the important things I informationoverloadlearned when I was a consultant was that I didn’t need to know everything, but I needed to know where to find it.

Also, no matter what you’re doing, know that someone has done it or tried it before. With those two bits of wisdom and Google, you should be set.

I’m a researching, analytic type of person by nature, so when I began this journey to develop this location independent lifestyle, I did a LOT of reading on the subject. And Google was there for me. As my focus changed from teaching English to working as a freelance writer and location independent entrepreneur, Google continued to help me along.

But I’m not going to tell you to just Google it. That’s because I’m a giver.

I remember the hours I spent looking up things and validating legitimate information from crap. I want to help you save some of  your valuable time.

I’ve pulled together the resources I either use today or have used in the past to help me along the way.

Here are the main categories that I’ve put together. Each of these links will take you to a page with lots of helpful info:

Feel free to ask questions about anything you see here, and for those of you who are givers too, I’d be more than happy for you to take a minute and add a comment to share the resources you’ve found as well.
